Tilting Sally's Wonderworld

So I elaborate on explanation to the piece, then!

"I could describe her as falling, as is the sensation I have when I sleep. But it is a safe feeling of falling. I feel the safest when I have my eyes closed. This is what I daydream about. Safety in sleep."

This is Tilting Sally. Not Alice from Lewis Carol's books, but she is inspired from such. I have always had a love for his books and the colors and images from the illustrations and paintings inspired from his work.
This particular piece is meant to combine my favorite things. These include stars, dolls, games, and the primary colors.

I feel other pieces coming up! I am very excited about this contest. owo]

She has a story story written about her. Perhaps I'll talk into posting it.

My first assemblage and real sculpture art piece. Made in Spring 2009.

Concerning its assemblage status: the items that were hand made include the stars and doll while the items that were found were the bubble frame and baskets. The checkers were painted with sun-catcher paint.
