Where Ocean Meets Island by shiyonin Where Ocean Meets Island by shiyonin
For ITAA Hawaiian themed challenge. This has been definitely a quicker project for me. I felt a little rushed and definitely felt like I would have liked to have worked on it more, but I have become inspired to work on a series from this. Perhaps I could call it \"Bodies of Water: Rivers and things Personified\"? XD

For inspiration, this video on Hawaiian fashion was linked [link] . I\'d say, it was quite inspiring!

It's quite beautiful. I would really like to wear something like that. The upper part it's especially marvellous and rather original.

Thank you! How would you wear this dress if you wore it?

Mh... I think I'd put under the lovely waistcoat a light, simple white tee-shirt made in cotton, with long sleeves slightly large and leaving the shoulders naked. I don't know exactly what kind of cloth you used for the gown, but I think that some kind of thin - perhaps lightly decored - stocking could be used, and low boots (perhaps in soft, brown leather, or a pair of rubber and very coloured rainboots).
Otherwhise, as it seems more a summer dress, with a light cotton top shirt without sleeves under the waistcoat, maybe embroidered, slightly old-fashioned, and leather sandals, perhaps a pair of flip-flops tied around the ankles; with a lot of orange, yellow and light-blue bracelets and some long necklaces with inserts of cloth and of wood. Unfortunately, I'm quite curvy and I can't wear anything without a bra under it. Geez, now I want to sketch an outfit with you dress. xD May I try?
